Meso thread treatment
As we age, the skin loses its elasticity and the amount of hyaluronic acid in the tissues decreases. The amount of subcutaneous fat decreases and the face begins to lose its youthfulness. The skin becomes flabby and the facial features droop.
The problem areas of the lower face are usually the corners of the mouth and cheeks and the chin area, and the eyelids in the upper face, these are the critical points where aging begins to appear. Because of these critical aging points, the center of gravity of the face changes to a square shape. Aesthetic treatments usually aim to restore the youthful v-shape of the face. The mesothread procedure can treat tissue laxity caused by aging. Mesothreads can effectively fade wrinkles and, with a light lift, restore the youthful shape of the face.
Mesothreads are made from polydioxanone (PDO), a substance familiar from medicine. The threads are meltable threads that are inserted under the skin in the required amount, usually a minimum of 10 threads per treatment.
The results of the Meso thread treatment are visible immediately.
The skin looks more elastic and the overall appearance is more refreshed, but the best treatment results are only visible after a few months. Meso thread treatment increases the skin's fibroblasts, fibroblasts stimulate collagen production, and collagen in turn firms the skin from the inside, which is why the results of the treatment can last up to two years. Meso thread treatment increases lymph and blood circulation, which reduces swelling and also brightens the skin. The results with Meso thread treatment can be amazing.
We use CE-approved mesothreads.
Different yarns are used depending on the need:
- Mono threads, i.e. straight threads for skin support and light lifting
- Screw threads for light lifting
- Cog thread for demanding lifting
COG threads - knife-free facelift
COG threads, or barbed threads, differ from other mesothreads in their structure; the small barbs contained in the threads adhere to the tissue, effectively lifting and supporting it. This allows them to achieve a so-called knife-free facelift. The threads typically dissolve within six months at the latest, but the collagen-stimulating effect they trigger continues for over a year.
Who is COG threading suitable for?
COG thread treatment is often used when the changes caused by aging have already begun to appear. Other mesothreads have a lighter benefit and can be used to prevent skin changes. COG threads, placed by a professional, can restore posture and beautiful shape to facial features that have been weakened by gravity.
Cancellation conditions: cancellation of the treatment appointment free of charge 24 hours before the treatment, otherwise a cancellation fee will be charged (50% of the treatment price).
