Meso thread treatment
As you age, the elasticity of the skin decreases and the amount of hyaluronic acid in the tissues decreases. The amount of subcutaneous fat decreases and thus the face begins to lose its youthfulness. The skin sags and facial features descend.
The problem areas of the lower face are usually the corners of the mouth and cheeks and the chin area, in the upper face also the eyelids, these are the critical points where aging starts to show. Because of these critical aging points, the center of gravity of the face becomes a square pattern. Aesthetic treatments usually aim to restore the youthful v-shape model of the face. With the meso thread procedure, tissue sagging caused by aging can be treated. With meso threads, fine lines can be effectively faded, and with a light lifting, the youthful model of the face can be restored.
Meso threads are made from polydioxanone (PDO), which is familiar from medicine. Threads are soluble threads that are transported under the skin in the required amount, usually a minimum of 10 threads/treatment.

The skin looks more elastic and the general appearance more refreshed, on the other hand, the best treatment result is only visible after a few months. Meso thread treatment increases skin fibroplasts, fibroplasts stimulate collagen production, and collagen in turn tightens the skin from the inside, which is why the result of the treatment can last up to two years. Meso thread treatment increases lymph and blood circulation, which reduces swelling and also brightens the skin. With the meso thread treatment, the results can be amazing.
We use CE approved meso thread
Different threads are used depending on the need:
- Mono threads, i.e. straight threads for skin support and light lifting
- Screw threads for light lifting
- Cog threads for demanding lifting
COG threads - knifeless facelift
COG threads, i.e. barbed threads, differ from other meso threads based on their structure; the small barbs contained in the threads cling to the tissue, effectively lifting and supporting it. Thanks to this, they achieve a so-called knifeless facelift. The threads typically dissolve in six months at the latest, but the collagen production stimulating effect they initiate continues for more than a year.
Who is the COG thread treatment suitable for?
COG thread treatment is often used when the changes caused by aging have already started to show. The benefit of other meso threads is lighter, and they can be used to prevent skin changes. With COG threads placed by a professional, posture and a beautiful shape can be restored to facial features that have sagged under the influence of gravity.
