HIFU treatments
HIFU face lift (High-intensity focused ultrasound) is a new treatment method for face lift without surgery. HIFU technology is based on focused, highly effective ultrasound energy, the impulse of which is accurately and efficiently targeted to the tissue. HIFU treatment accelerates the skin's collagen production and thus tightens the facial muscles naturally and is a very good option for those who are not ready for a surgical procedure.
HIFU treatment is best suited for lifting sagging cheeks and the skin under the chin, lifting the forehead and eyebrows, and treating loose skin on the neck and wrinkled and sagging décolleté. The treatment is best suited for people over 30 years old.

HIFU ultrasound energy is precisely targeted to the desired SMAS (Superficial muscular aponeurotic system) depth of the tissue – e.g. 1.5 mm, 3 mm, 4.5 mm. In the tissue, ultrasound accelerates the skin's collagen regeneration, which tightens the skin in a natural way. Ultrasound energy affects the face to a depth of up to 4.5 mm, which normally can only be reached with a surgeon's knife.
The duration of the treatment is 30-90 minutes, depending on the treatment areas. You can have the HIFU treatment only on the forehead (forehead-eyebrow lift) or on the entire face and neck area. The effects of the treatment are visible immediately after the treatment, but the final results are visible only after 2-3 months. Often, only one treatment session is enough for customers, but depending on the condition of the skin, the treatment can be renewed three months after the first treatment.
The effect of HIFU treatment gradually disappears with age. The interval of possible repeat treatments is largely determined individually and according to the client's goals, we often do the HIFU repeat treatment usually after about a year.
HIFU treatment can be done on the same area 1-2 times a year. The customer must definitely inform if he has previously undergone HIFU treatment.
HIFU treatment can be combined with several other treatments (e.g. microneedling) and at the same time enhance treatment results.
Does HIFU treatment hurt?
The treatment feels like a small sting. If you are sensitive to pain, you can take a painkiller before the treatment if you wish. All our customers have tolerated the HIFU treatment well.
After HIFU treatment
The face may feel sensitive for a couple of weeks after the HIFU treatment. The treatment may sometimes cause small bruises in sensitive areas, but any bruises normally disappear after a few days. After the treatment, sweaty exercise, sauna, sweating in general and also sunbathing are not recommended.
HIFU contraindications:
- Cardiovascular diseases, pacemaker and blood pressure disease
- Disease of metabolic organs (e.g. liver and kidneys)
- Inflammations in the mouth and teeth
- Infectious diseases
- Metal fillings under the skin and jewelry
- At least one year after the surgical procedure
- Fillers in the treatment area (at least 2 weeks after Botox; if you have taken fillers, HIFU treatment is not recommended – the correct order is HIFU first and only then possible fillers!)
- Sunburnt skin
- Pregnancy and absorption
Within three days before the treatment, do not use isotretin, glycolic or salicylic acid, which irritate the skin.
